Lutheran South Academy is a small private school with approximately 800 students in grades K-12 in Houston, Texas. Like Linfield, their main focus is preparing students for college and encouraging them to maintain a healthy relationship with God. But on August 25, everything changed for this school. Their property was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey as buildings were pounded by 130 mph winds and 43 inches of rain fell, causing massive flooding that devastated the school. In fact, the building is still unusable, and students are currently meeting at a nearby church. But even in the midst of tragedy, they are pursuing Christ and standing strong together as a community.
LSA needs to renovate every classroom, replace their gym floor, and buy new equipment and supplies, and as their brothers and sisters in Christ, we want to help. So as part of Homecoming 2017, the Class of 2018 sponsored a fundraising effort in order to provide money for these repairs.
*UPDATED - The Elementary School is also raising money for LSA as part of their upcoming family movie night!
This is an opportunity for us to band together as a school family and as a community of faith, and we are inviting you to participate!
Please determine an amount and purchase.
Thank you for your generosity.
